See, e.g., cause of retaliation against the United States by the diverse Muslim peoples.

The cause (hint: it's not "Islam") is pretty much suppressed by the mainstream media.

I haven't even worked up the nerve to read Jennifer yet, I just gotta remark on the juxtaposition of Dorothy Thompson's graceful genius and Ms. Rubin's caricature (I'm referring of course specifically here to the drawing, not today's column): they don't make 'em like they used to.

Everyone will say that they care only about the truth but you don't run into many people who actually want to hear it, or even debate it. If you don't understand that life will be hard for you.

Outside of a few friends my only connection with people who are interested in getting to the truth of things is in the comments section of iSteve.

Taboos are probably a permanent feature of human civilization. I get it that Steve wants to grab everyone by the lapels and hector them about demonstrated IQ gaps between races, but I'm surprised he's perpetually surprised by their reaction. What does he expect will come next? In the current situation it is OK for an ambassador to get iced by homicidal non-Christian zealots--the GOP consultant/talk-radio axis really can't grasp that this country now lodges tens of millions who either *absolutely don't care about that* or just care more about TV singing contest shows--however, one can get fired PDQ from his magazine "media reporter job" for evincing an insufficiently worshipful attitude towards the LGBTTTQ icon du jour. This is the phase we're going through.
