Keep it up, Steve. I've been reading you for at least ten years now, and given the work you give us for free donations are well-deserved.

One thing I'd like to mention to readers is that guys like Steve are an inspiration to those who have unconventional, innovative ideas and perspectives. I'm pretty sure that many young people have been inspired to put their own thoughts out there after seeing his success and influence, which derives from his original ideas. Sending Steve some money is easier than buying groceries, and in some ways more satisfying.

In my opinion, whether you agree with everything he writes or not, you're reading it for some reason, and it's only fair to drop some coin, just the same as you'd do in a bookstore or newspaper stand.

Count me as one of them.

I was quite shocked to find this site and realize there was a bunch of people out there who agreed with the crazy thoughts I had been thinking for so many years.

Roissy was another eye opener as I was somewhat more ignorant of this sphere of discourse.

This might help?

Why PayPal code doesn't work
The code that PayPal provides for embedding buttons and forms into your website will not work with Google Sites due to how they are put together. As you know, Google Sites is fairly restrictive in the custom code it will allow, and the FORM tags that are necessary to make the PayPal buttons work are rejected because of this.

Creating a PayPal Donate Button
Despite the limitations described above, it is possible to include such things as a PayPal Donate button on the pages of your Google Site. To do this, follow these simple instructions:

PayPal

1. Log into your PayPal account
2. Select the Merchant Services tab
3. Click the Donate link under Create Buttons
4. Complete the "Create PayPal Payment Button" wizard and click Create Button
5. On the "You are viewing your button code" page, click the Email tab
6. Copy the URL from the text box to your clipboard (CTL-C for Windows users)
Example: https://www.paypal.com/cgi-bin/webscr?cmd=_s-xclick&hosted_button_id=4949195

Steve, if this lottery ticket I'm holding pays out, I'll cut you in for a share. If not, there's always next week - and the week after.

You're the best. I make the $22k a year, baby on the way, two master's degrees, cold-cocked by affirmative action every time I apply for a job, semi-autistic, the usual Steve Sailer fan stuff. So ... no money for you.

Wait a minute, if all your fans are like me, you're doomed!

Except that they're not. The other half of your fans are all apparently sports fans, who can please other (grown!) men enough by talking about sports that they can get promotions and support their families. They might give you money.

Crazy world.

Steve, if you're just clicking on the donate button and then copying the link, that's not gonna work (rather the link only works for you). You need to generate the link like in the instructions above.

In the meantime people can just click on the donate button.

From the Douthat link:

This breeds paranoia,...

He spends the preceding paragraphs basically admitting that Whites -- especially Whites of lower socioeconomic status from "Red America" -- have something to be concerend about, then he calls this concern "paranoia".

That's not my definition of paranoia.
