I saw The Last King of Scotland this weekend and was as impressed by it as I was disgusted by Babel. Whitaker deserves ever award he gets.

I am going to London in April.

Can anyone recommned a "political drama offering fictionalized surmises about recent matters of state?"

Thanks.

Hey Steve-

DO you only review one movie per month for American Conservative these days?

I tried to find you on UPI website, but couldn't. Your reviews are great, if you could guide me to more (new ones) I'd appreciate it!

I don't know if you're still reading this thread, Steve, but as a professional film reviewer, I expected better about Forrest Whitaker's CV in film. His first appearance in films was a small role in 'Fast Times at Ridgemont High' as the football playing star whose car some kids destroy in order to get him motivated to destroy the other team. That movie appeared in about 82 or 83, as I recall.
