Time to reprise Lord Keynes--"In the long run, we are all dead."

Do you think Gilmore's started a trend? Obviously, candidates were gunna have to start bailing at some point, but I wonder if it may have been a matter of pride for some who didn't want to be known as the first candidate to fold.

If the 7 Republican candidates who are polling at 1% or so - Gilmore, Tancredo, Hunter, Paul, Tommy Thompson, Huckabee, Brownback - get out, I think a lot more people would focus on the remaining 4 or 5, and the process would get more intense. It would be interesting to see if anyone managed to come out with a significant lead. And 6 months before the first primary, it may leave enough time for others to get in.

One wouldn't know that Chris Dodd and Joe Biden, relatively powerful longterm members of the SENATE are even in this race.

I really despise the media. They have "anointed" Hillary and Obama as the Democratic frontrunners to the utter exclusion of the other candidates. The only reason Edwards gets any play is that he was the vice pres. nominee last time out and he has a ton of dough.

And the time you've saved was misspent writing this blog entry and moderating its comment's section.

Did you hear of the (unknowingly miked) conversation betwixt Hillary and Johnny Edwards? He suggested the lesser candidiates get out so the "big boys" could get serious. When they were interrupted by the smiling Denny Kucinich,as he walked away Hillary said something to Edwards like,"Lets talk..." :0

Now that's funny....

Leave it on the shelf long enough and it no longer has to be done....

I'll remember that next time I feel guilty for procrastinating...

I'll say I learned it at isteve...
