I propose Hi-Octane Siesta be Ta-Nehisi Coates's new iSteve nickname. Bloomborg, Hi-Octane Siesta -- someday, Steve can write a Waugh-inspired novel and use these as character names.

Poetry is a literary construct by the looks of it.

Chances are good that the author has IQ double that of Ta-Nehesi Coates.

Well that is just pure inspiration, so here's more on the theme, we just need to start a contest:

Ta-Nehesi!
the overseer with the
Whip is around
the corner so run anywhere but
not Tennessee!

Ta-Nehesi!
in Africa there's
Peace and Justice
Well just about everywhere so it's
not Tennessee!

Ta-Nehesi!
but somehow you're
still in America well
everybody's got to live somewhere
at least for you that's
not Tennessee!

I just wanted to mention that Ta-Nehisi Coates banned me from commenting in The Atlantic because he's a punk little punk bitch who doesn't want to be challenged.

Brilliant.

"Hi-octane siesta" sounds like a great descriptor for a nation like Mexico - or eventually the United States - that exhibits the qualities of dilligent lassitude and oustanding mediocrity.

Not really a compliment, that may still put him in double digits!

In any event, very clever, ingenious and droll from just a nobody

Anagram is increasingly a lost art!
a haiku anagram is a twofer!
