Guidance of the Day:
Of course, the past has value and there are unknown treasures in the future. Only the moment, however, has true value, for it is here and can be lived fully. The rest is merely our imagination. Love knows this, for love does not look back. Instead, love experiences the past and takes the best from it. Nor does love look forward, for it realizes that tomorrow's dream remains awaiting and may never come. It is only in the now that love can be a reality. All else is but memory or hope.

Adding love to life is always good. But as we fill our lives with love, we should consider the type of love we look to. The greatest love is what gives all, expecting nothing in return. Love is always willing, even delighted, to receive in return, but it never asks for anything-----other than to be allowed to be continue being. This is the purest love. It is often the most delightful love, for it can never be painful. If nothing is expected in return, we can never be deceived or disappointed. Food for Thought:
Avoid popularity if you would have peace----it has many snares and no real benefit, it is exhausting. Seek not the favor of the multitude; it is seldom got by honest and lawful means. But seek the testimony of the few; and number not voices, but weigh them.
