Remember that old Primary song that says "Grandpa-pa, Grandpa-pa, I love my Grandpa-pa Oh Odie Oh oh...." Well, I can tell you one kid who sure loves her grandpa-pa!! Last week my dad surprised us and came to visit for the weekend. We had a few bumps and bruises in our plans but Grandpa and Lila got to go on lots of long walks and it was so good to have him here.

There is just something about having your parents around that makes you feel a little bit more secure. Thanks for coming to visit Dad! We miss you! (Lila even made me sing the "silly Grandpa song" tonight!)
