Em, I have been trying to find words to post on my Blog for her but nothing feels right. What you said was perfect. Thank you for what you said.

What a sweet post. I had to brush away tears a few times. I'm sorry for your loss. She sounds like a great woman.

Your grandma sounds like she was pure MAGIC! This post made me think of my wonderful grandma who died over 20 years ago, I still miss her. There is nothing in the world quite so wonderful as an inspired grandmother. Thanks for sharing the wonder of her with the rest of us. I'm sorry that you have to live without her for the time being. Letting go of the ones who love us the most and see the best in us is so very hard.

Emily,
I found your blog while doing a google search for "James Widdison" (I named my son after him as well) They are my great-grandparents, too (Donna is my grandma). I was so touched by what you have written, especially the sweet poem you wrote for your Grandma. Her words have also given me a love for my (our) ancestors. I would like to email you, but can't see an address. Please email me: emilygammon2 [at] gmail.com

I miss my Grandma Lillian everyday! I do have some memories at your grandmas house too. Swimming with a broken leg at 3 years old (I only remember from pics) :-)
