[Image] Belmont High School had a Hunger Banquet tonight. Some of the young women I work with at church were involved with putting it together so I really wanted to go. None of my grown up friends could make it so I asked my favorite little friend to be my date. She was soooo cute. When we were getting ready to go she was giggling and screaming... it was fun to be able to go do something just me and her.
After the dinner (of rice and beans) we went to Cold Stone for ice cream. On the way home as we were talking and laughing I was thinking about how fun it is to get to do things with Lila. She's not a burden to take around with me. Almost everything I do is more fun when she's along for the ride (almost everything!!)
I'm lucky to have such a funny little sidekick. Even at 3 she's already one of my very best friends!!
