Yeah, okay, so why no mention of Richard Armitage in this movie?

Actually, Armitage's role is mentioned in a title card at the end of the film. But to say his part in this is downplayed considerably would be correct.

But of course it is!

You know, every time I think I've gotten to a point where I can divorce the film from the true story it's based on, something comes along like FAIR GAME to make me feel like a hypocrite. Because this really DOES piss me off, whereas the liberties that I'm sure were taken with THE SOCIAL NETWORK don't.

The problem with FAIR GAME is that nobody seems to remember Armitage anymore, and they never talk about him and his role -- instead, the story is distorted so that we have Bush, Rove, Cheney and Libby huddled in a room, plotting revenge against Wilson and his wife. And people accept that version pretty easily, and then go out and make movies about it.
