RTP is actually one of my all time favorite movies, even though it didn't make my recent "Top Five of 2002".

There's a lyrical quality to the violence that I hadn't seen since THE GODFATHER, and I couldn't agree with you more about how gorgeous the photography in this film is (nabbing it a well-deserved Oscar).

Yeah, Mad Hatter, it's the lyricism that truly makes this one memorable, and watching it again reminded me how wonderful it really is.

I still hold out hope that Mendes can reach the potential he showed in early movies like this one.
