I'm looking forward to 'Side Effects'. Soderbergh has been on an almost four year roll of strong films since 'The Girlfriend Experience', and these health industry scripts by Scott Z. Burns seem to provide Soderbergh with content that's both cerebral and still full of entertainment value.

As for the retirement rumors, they kind of have to be taken with a grain of salt. His Liberace movie still hasn't premiered, and I'm guessing his production work will eventually pull him back to directing if he did retire anytime soon.

I don't know, Aden. He seems to be almost too eclectic an artist to be contained simply in this medium. And from what I've heard, he simply wants to try his hand at other forms of art. We'll wait and see.
