You can see Roy O. Disney in the row behind Nixon. Seated directly behind Dick was Meredith Willson, the author & composer of The Music Man. When Walt surprised him that day with the parade's 76 trombones, he stepped up to conduct his own composition!

When I see the Disneyland television series and other Disney TV series from that time, like Zorro, I really feel a nostalgia for this time that I haven't lived; what a great time, I wish that I were there!

By the way, seeing how great Disney TV shows were in the 1950's and 60's, I wonder why the Disney Chanel is so bad nowadays...
