I doubt our paths will never cross - but since I stumbled upon your wonderful blog, I have had a tradition of visiting every friday morning.

Regardless of what you decide - thank you so much. You've given me great enjoyment and I am truly grateful.

That IS sad, but still I am thankful for all the items and all the news you brought us. When you feel it's time to move on with your life and spend time doing other things, that's a good thing for you.

Don't do things just because you feel like you need to do it, you have to like it, otherwise it's not good for you.

All the luck in the future and maybe we'll see you again here :)

Thank you for all your hard work. Indeed there are plenty of other pages out there, but this page is truly special and reliable. Over the years your page has become a daily Site to visit, your book is a must for every D-Fan! To see you ending the daily post is like a (virtual) Disneyland closing down...

I will miss this site. Yes there are other Disney blogs but none with this great coverage of DLP and that wonderful imagineering concept art! Thank you so much Alain for all your great work! Hopefully this means another Disney Imagineering book from you is in the works. One can hope.

What can we do to change your mind?

It is indeed the most reliable blog out there!

Perhaps you can charge your readers a small fee.

Personaly I would not mind. :-)

Alain,

Your blog is one of my favourites that I regularly read and always look forward to your updates.

I hope you can take some time away from the site to have a break and collect your thoughts, and then when you find the time and passion again, get back into writing new articles.

I hope you stick around!

Thanks for all the great info and photos! Chris

P.S. Your book is still the best Disney book out there.

Noooo, this is very sad news. I have been checking your blog every day for years. I enjoy reading the articles a great deal. Hope you will find some time in the future to keep this blog up and running. Maybe post articles once a week instead of every few days? You don't have to quit altogether :)

Thanks for the great work Alain. Even if you decide to stop writing blog posts it's a decision we'll have to live with, it's your life after all!

This is very sad news!

I do hope that you change your mind Alain and continue to update Disney and more, even if not every day.

I'm also very grateful for all your great posts and I wish you the best of luck in whatever you do, and I hope that you find time on your new projects to update D&M at least once a week.

By the way, and I don't know if you can answer it, is writing a new Disney related book a part of your projects?

It's taken me a few days to even know what to say. Your blog is a daily "go to" for DLRP and other amazingly great Disney and theme park news. Thanks for the blog. Hope you find new inspiration - herein or another site on the web. Either way, thanks again! I have so enjoyed this site!!

I remember stumbling upon this blog quite a few years ago while doing some research on Disney. Since that one stumble, I literally could never leave this site. Every article has something new and interesting to learn about in the world of the entertainment industry and the person behind the articles was brilliant at providing thorough and in-depth commentary. Many of your articles have become my favorite articles I have ever read on the internet! Thank you so much for all that you have done!

This is really sad news since I'm a faithful reader for a number of years now. I can promise that your blog will be missed a lot since it is my favourite source for all things Disney. I always enjoy your selection of stunning Pictures and I appreciate a lot how much work and effort went into your blog. It will be difficult to find a replacement for your awesome blog. But on the other side I can understand your decision, I can imagine how much time it takes to update this blog on a regular Basis.

Anyway, thanks a lot for your great work and all the best for you...
