Favourite: Solitary or form groups, aggressive. Hide-out: Lagoon and inshore reefs with sand, silt and seagrass bottoms to 10m. Location: East Indo-Asian Pacific - Andaman Sea to N.W. Australia, Great Barrier Reef and Vanuatu, north to Palau and Philippines.
