Favourite: A secretive fish usually alone, occasionally in small groups; hide in crevices and ledges. Hide-out: Coral-rich areas or rubble bottoms, most commonly on sheltered outer reefs, but also lagoons and passes in 10-70m. Location: West Pacific - Indonesia, Philippines, N. New Guinea to Vanuatu. S.W. Japan to N. Great Barrier Reef and New Coledonia.
