Family: Butterflyfish - Chaetodontidae
Maximum Size: 23cm
Description: Body and anal fin black, dorsal fin and tail yellow; long white dorsal-fin filament; bump on nape, white bar behind eye.
Favourite: Solitary or in pairs.
Hide-out: Lagoons and outer reefs, often around shipwrecks in 2-250m.
Location: Indo-West Pacific - Maldives to Indonesia, Philippines, Micronesia and Samoa. S.W. Japan to N.W. & E. Australia.
