It was an uneventful day, until we got to go to the building for the new datacenter. It is not nearly finished - they've only just got the framing of the walls in so far. However, we went there to see if we could find a spot to put a temporary satellite dish on the roof.
That's where some of these pictures come from - the roof of the Harbour Center building. We took an elevator to the 28th floor, and walked up to the 29th. Not much room for satellites there so we were about to give up.....when we saw a sign saying "To roof of viewing platform" so we couldn't resist. However it was about ten flights of stairs, so we were all a bit winded at the top. It was quite an impressive view from up there!
The one picture that is inside a mine is from the Campbell mine I was at two weeks ago - Terry sent it from his digi-cam. I have some more pictures on my film camera that I have to develop yet.
Tonight we went for dinner at the Brazilian steakhouse - whose claim to fame is a dish that is unlimited meat, which is cut from skewers by servers wandering about. I am very full.
