How are you getting carbs and protein?

good question - carbs are basically different kinds of sugars (ketones), so the use of fruit gives me all the natural sugar I need to sustain a daily diet. I'm not getting all the carbs typically associated with grains, but I'm still getting carbs. I think what may be just as important are amino acids, but that can also be dealt with by using certain kinds of fruits and veggies, such as the Chayote I used today for lunch. It's a good source of amino acids and Vitamin C.
as for protein, obviously the best way to get protein is through cereals, grains, and meat, but there are a bunch of fruits and things like nuts that provide a vegetarian alternative to protein. I'm using kale & broccoli and some leafy greens to get protein into my juices until I can introduce peanuts, cashews, and legumes back into my diet.
