We drove up from Charlotte, NC in the rain on a motorcycle to see him at Merriweather (he was worth every rain drop )and if we had the opportunity again to attend another of his concerts as great as this concert was - I'd do it again ... regardless the distance or the weather. He is a legend.

...a unique evening...Leonard seemed to get stronger, and happier, as the evening went on. It was a once in a lifetime experience...during the intermission, they were advertising other upcoming concerts on the screens, and I thought, who on earth could sit through those shows after witnessing the simply exalted performance that we all were so priviliged to be part of....

I saw LC at the Beacon Theatre concert and went to NYC and spent a fortune. It was ALL WORTH IT. It was history in the making
I took my 21 y/o son to Merriweather and we both were estatic. I was not on the lawn but it was wet and cold and once again THE MASTER "took us traveling". I can't fathom anyone saying it was so/so. He's 74 y/o and he stayed on stage for 3 hours, never sitting. I would have not done the encores - any of the three.

Having missed him when I was younger, Cohen's monetary losses were my gain when he hit the road again. The show was great and the songs spanned his career. The band was tight behind him and Javier Mas's guitar work was flawless. It was a show not to be missed and I am glad I didn't.

My sister and I were two of the people on the lawn that evening and like so many others would have been there no matter what - Neither snow, nor rain, nor heat, nor gloom of night, stays these fans from the spiritual experience of a Leonard Cohen concert. - The rain and cold only enhanced the honesty and warmth of his lyrics. He sounded incredible and brought me to tears, laughter and beyond the entire night. I sold a quarter of my cd's to buy our tickets and would gladly do so again just to sit in the rain and hear him once more.

I was with my sister in the rain on the lawn. It was the most amazing experience the two of us have had together. I would have stayed another three hours in the rain. The simple gift he gave me, being teleported into another realm of peace and hopeful longing. I am still swayed and swooning days after.

Cohen makes 74 look good. He's got old school charisma-the gracious charm that casts a spell and keeps the audience raptly attentive. We know he's done this before but the performance is fresh and the joy is contagious. This was a concert to remember and we will...for a lifetime.
