Why do we need transparency in Nigeria? abeg carry your wahala go. We are happy with our chaos here, it means i can chop, and if you develop the country who will work as houseboy, housegirl, driver, cleaner, gardener, messenger, etc...let us wallow in our mess, that's why we love Naija. life is too short for order, transparency and all these nice foreign un-African virtues. Let me chop my share before NEITI abi na NASTY or NETTY.....

Actually there's connect between ESTT and EITI: 'The EITI is a critical first step in the global effort to increase transparency and fight the resource curse. But any voluntary agreement necessarily has limited reach. The EITI helps make the case for the ESTT Act and the ESTT Act helps advance the goals of the EITI.' Besides, the chairman of EITI seems pleased.

All the same, many thanks for drawing attention to this. A comparative study of ESTT and EITI vis-a-vis Nigeria is in order.
