Jeremy, I do hope it's not the fever talking, you were going off there for a while, lol...

There used to be four-cornered nets when I was younger and we used wooden posts tied to the corners of the single beds to hold them up.

People don't use them because those things trap heat, simple. If you went to a Naija boarding school, a conc one not all these boti ones, you would know that if you truly want to use a mosquito net, nothing can stop you

I think the issue might be just as much about communication. Why? Because you really don't need to hang your bednet from the ceiling. I have been using bednets for years, comfortably suspended from four sticks tied to the bed, or dug into the floor (when sleeping on earthen floors) or in sand-filled tin cans or other container. Now if everybody could spread that message...
