what a great story! it made me feel like a little girl again - i remember doing the same thing with my mother. the earrings are divine - especially the pink square ones! they look good enough to eat.

What a lovely post! I have similar memories of watching my mom getting dolled up. I loved trying on her earrings, which were all the heavy, old, clip-on kind at the time. -Julia
