oh! I had NOT heard of this movie! It sounds like it's right up my alley. Have you seen A Good Woman with Scarlet Johansson and Helen Hunt? Yet another villa-centered movie. Beautifully done.

A college friend (from CT) wants to go in on a villa-ish thing for when we're elderly. And have young-ish men as caregivers.
Anyway, the movie seems divine and I'm in for anything villa-esque.

Another good villa movie is A Month At The Lake with Vanessa Redgrave, reminds me of Summertime (Katherine Hepburn film, 1950s). Also Up At The Villa with Kristin Scott Thomas, based on the Somerset Maugham novel.
