The fact that Boddington made your blog (and got an adorable collar the blog is fabulous.

What that was *supposed* to say was:

The fact that Boddington made your blog (and got an adorable collar out of it) is not the reason that the blog is fabulous.

Thank you for the recommendation! I have never heard of this but will netflix the original post haste! Love vintage movies with great fashion. Have you seen Vogues of 1938? Netflix has that now too. I also like Designing Woman with Lauren Bacall.

Unfortunately this is not yet available from Netflix yet. I will have to try Blockbuster or the library. It may be available on VHS. Let's keep us posted on this one. Great find.

Thank you for this movie tip...I've been needing to rent one of those old, but inspiring movies...and I had no idea that even the artwork was done by women!

I loved the original but never did buy that thing about Joan Crawford being a shop girl. Maybe "Mommy Dearest" has ruined my image of her!

Mmm, loved the OG Women. If only Joan Crawford wasn't dead and she coulda' played a cameo in this remake!

I have been interested in the trailers for this movie, but as I have never set foot in a movie theatre in Canada in the whole 19 years since we've been here, I guess I will be waiting until it comes out on dvd........the whole idea of sitting with hundreds of people in a movie theatre just doesn't appeal to me.....I can't wait to hear from you all though what you all thought of it.

They also did the play for PBS a few years ago that was pretty awe-inspiring, with Cynthia Nixon, among others.
