This is SO up my alley. I love the idea of cooking exotic, far off dishes in my kitchen too. I always say I'm only an adventurer when it comes to cooking:)

I LOVE the idea of marinating in peanuts. Never heard of suya before but so glad you shared it!

So the grill plate with ridges isnt good enough? should i use my oven instead? Thanks.. Its beautiful.. Love it.

Actually, I preferred the grill plate as it kept the meat a bit more moist...

I haven't yet tried it in the oven, I'm not sure how it would work... you might need to use the broil method, though you would have to watch it closely, so as not to burn the peanuts. Let me know if you try it in the oven. I'm curious if it will work. I definitely prefer the grill for the extra flavor...
