Another incredible recipe Ellie! I've got this one bookmarked and will be making it soon. Such great tips with the fruit as a tenderizer! Never thought to use kiwi, brilliant idea!! I can NOT wait to make this one :)

Jennifurla, You can easily play around with the seasonings. Hope you enjoy...

Andrea, Oh, I sure hope you like it! Yea, kiwi is known to tenderize meat as it contains a protein-dissolving enzyme called actinidin.....among many other good stuff:)... Hope you can give it a try ....feel free to play around with the seasonings.

Ellie, thanks 4d posting. I'm about 2buy grill/bbq pan which is working great n will easy 2clean. Hubby bought me 14 sets ALL-Clad for surprise. Boy, I did surprise! Those All-Clad are nice but they are too heavy 4petite woman like me who is below 100lbs. They hurt my hands already n not nonstick. I'm desperate 2go back 2those light, easy, nonstick one for daily use. At least having 2 or 3 mixing with those All-Clad from hubby.

How's Nordic Ware grill pan going? How long it last? Is it PFOA/PTFE free? I'm open for other brand especially made in the USA (hoping will help the USA economy :D). I found some i.e manpans/american kitchen but they don't have the one will produce bbq/grill marking that we love.

Lucia, Your husband was really sweet to get you ALL-Clad:)...they are supposed to be one of the best cookware:)

In any case, I like the Nordicware as it is a light pan and is guaranteed for 5 years... obviously this all depends on how you use it. I noticed the pan heats up very quickly ... so you will need to keep it on medium heat. If the pan is heated on high heat, it will burn the food and damage the pan as well as the nonstick surface. But it does make really nice grill marks. I still enjoy the pan...though I use it occasionally, more in the winter.

If you want a better pan you can opt for the steel version...though I am not sure how heavy it is. As for the pan being PFOA/PTFE-free, I am not sure.

There might be other pans on the market that will perform well and are lighter in weight, as well as being PFOA-free...though I wouldn't know.

I'm sure if you go to a kitchen store you may find what you are looking for as well as see how it feels in your hand.

Hope that helps:)...and thanks for stopping by.
