I was actually cooking this Christmas and my family liked my inventive recipes. However, I didn't talk much throughout the meal because of a sore throat that later that Eve became a fever of a hundred and four. Lovely. I'm feeling better now but what a boring three days. Restaurants are the best, I'm the only one in my family who enjoys them.

Or happy holidays, or whatever.
We are celebrating at the Restaurant Whore household by eating a huge Christmas Eve feast last night (despite there only being two of us to partake in it), stuffing stockings full of artisanal chocolates and preparing for an evening of Chinese food love at Ton Kiang. And by comforting a certain Diner #3, who celebrated the holiday by refusing to sleep. Good times. I'll count my blessings, though, that he still seems to enjoy sleeping in restaurants...
