OK, two things.

1 - HAM on Yom Kippur?? Yeah, you're SO going to hell.

2 - I will share an egg salad sammy with you ANY day; despite my hate of eggs, I love hard-boiled ones. Go figure.

30.5 hours to nirvana, homegirl.

i just tried it for the first time too.
Last week
It is only 10 mins walk from my new office
so any time you wanna meet for lunch
(if they let me out of this place, I have worked every lunch this week)

I am going to visit it several times before I review it.
But the chicken and almond salad crepe I had there the other day was sublime.
Perhaps I will go there today for their friday brunch
(if I can persuade the frenchman its a good idea to eat scrambled eggs for lunch)

Hello, ladies!

F -- a) it wasn't Yom Kippur *yet*, it was Kol Nidre, b) I'm not Jewish (although an argument against that statement can be made -- I'll explain tomorrow), c) Jews don't believe in hell, so I'm all clear:). I'm so excited about tomorrow that I might just pee my pants. And you will have to eat an egg there because they make you. Don't worry, I'll hold your hand!

S -- any Thurs. or Fri. I can get there for lunchies or brunchies...you name it, doll!

PS - the dress (which I dont even want ) cost more than I expect you will spend on your dinner.
How much does that suck?

S- I feel your pain. You tell us your next free weekend and we'll help you drown your sorrows:).

Oy, Sam, I feel your pain!! The outrage of spending upwards of a few hundred dollars on a dress one is never to wear again is... is...

I'm likely to be wearing a TANGERINE-colored dress next May. Fortunately, my best-friend is a love, and trying to find a dress that there IS a chance we might wear again.

guess what. the dress arrived at 10am and it was a piece of crap and I had to dash to Macy's and buy something I could actually wear to the wedding that wouldn't risk my breasts from popping out.

$400 down the drain. It's not a dress I will only wear once, it is a dress I will never wear.

She was copying my favourite dress, so i had high hopes for it. She just did a botch job, that's all!

bugger.

It's ok
I found an aboslutely darling skirt in macy's for just $88
and the free french champagne was flowing all night
so it wasn't so bad after all

Hey Joy,

Glad you got a chance to come through for a bite. You should convince Sam and Fatemeh to roll through with you for one of the Family Dinners. Anne is doing them once a month...

If this seems too much like an advertisement drop it like a hot stone ;)
