I think I need therapy just looking at that.

How cool would it be to live near the True Love Ferry Pier and Urban Spotlight Arcade though?

Well, they have the "new furniture" thing down OK. Lots of plastic everywhere.

This of course makes sense if you live in a place that has lots of sandstorms. Although I think that it could get annoying looking at the TV through plastic wrap. So, this picture must be somewhere on the Arabian Peninsula. Oh, wait - Tokyo?

Let's not blame Tokyo or Japan!

"Location: Kaohsiung, Taiwan" according to the link.

Who doesn't like cross-site pollination? BoingBoing has "another delightful photo collection of Home Inspection Nightmares". They include archive links to more feelthy pictures.

Had this been in Korea, it would have been Seoul-sapping.

Sorry.

Well, folks, it's located in Taiwan, in the middle of the nastiest manufacturing hub on the planet (been there, done that.) Since I've been to this area, I must say the apartment *is* a slice of heaven compared to the outside! Anyway, this costs only USD$323, according to xe.com.

Their plastic furniture covers seem to be made from dry cleaner's bags.

Is that an air conditioner inserted in the door by the telly?

But how wonderful to be so near the True Love Ferry Pier. Is that the pier for the True Love Ferry or the True Love Pier for Ferries to arrive? Makes a difference. I would welcome true love but I would rather find it on the pier than to have to incur the expense of a ferry ride.

That's relatively cheap for an apartment with a geyser, no?

Looks like the apartment I looked at at Southern Illinois University in Carbondale. All it needed was a chalk drawing of a body on the floor to complete the effect.

Have you ever stayed in a high quality hotel in Asia? They'll charge you more than this for one night for 1/4 of the space. Forget about a bathtub.

Pretty Spartan by American standards but probably pretty standard middle class apt.

What are you guys complaining about? Read the listing - it has its own GEYSER.

How many of you have your own geysers?

Let's not speculate about the race, class, or parenting skills of the people who live in these houses. We judge them on the photos they pick, not on who they are as people (unless we really can't help it).
