How did I miss this since it is, regrettably, in my home town. Truly the stuff that nightmares are made of. I especially like the little house for trolls or gremlins in the backyard.
shoot - I was going to make a witty comment about that movie with the devil spawn child and now "poof" his name is GONE from my memory - but you know the one... well, that's his room -- it's the only explanation that keeps me from wanting to cry.
"Complete fixer!!! Everything needs replacing. Do not enter. Property is sold "As Is". Trash and garbage have not been removed. Public records do not state Sq Ft of lot nor building. Age is an estimate. Bulldoze and start from scratch."
How in the name of all that is Holy can something like that cost nearly $300,000??? I live in a really nice part of my city (in TN) and $300,000 would buy a beautiful, brand new custom home...with at least an acre or more. What do people do for a living out there?????
"Sleep tight". I think you'd have to be a bit 'tight' to sleep in that house.
$300,000 for a lot that's two blocks from the Pacific Ocean doesn't seem totally outrageous...clearly I've been seeing California real estate prices for too long.
Lynne, even worse: if that were in my old hometown it would be $200,000 underpriced even as an empty lot.

Why include interior photos if the only good thing you can do for this place is raze it and start over? Is it supposed to serve as a kind of, "See? You REALLY don't want this house. Really. We mean it. Honest to God. Don't even THINK about trying to live in this gate to Hell"? I think even on the West Coast, $300,000 would be better spent elsewhere...
What is this??? http://i-0.rfimg.us/photo/8/bigphoto/476/80821476_4_0.jpg At first I thought it was a litter box made from a beer/soda flat: then I thought is that a giant pile? Maybe it's a snake? Uh...
This is why we teach our children not to play with matches. And then we keep the matches is a safe place... next to the crib is not a safe place. T

Looking at the photos of the rest of the rest of the property, the bed bugs would be the least of your problems.

"Bulldoze and start from scratch." That sums it up succinctly, doesn't it?

Okay, so clearly the lot is worth $286,900 if they are telling you to BYOB, bulldozer, that is. Then again, BYOBooze might be appropriate too.
