I don't think that house was a convent. If it was it is decidedly lacking in any kind of religious artwork, etc. Not even one statue of Mary? Not a single crucifix? I know some factions frown on icons, but those are also the factions without nuns.
Although I too got a good giggle out of thinking about the Brides of Christ Pool Parties they must have thrown.
Hey, does anyone have a direct link to the actual listing vs. the photos for it? I tried searching with the MLS number and haven't had any luck.
When I was young, there was house on our street that just happened to be home to several nuns. My best friend used to go to catechism there, and it was hard for her to get out of it... since she lived right across the street.

I went the other way. The first house I lived in became a convent after we moved out!
Man, they really aren't worried about limiting their buyers pool are they? Gardens edged with tiny flags, nuns in the pictures, and one of the selling points? Walking to the various parochial institutions.
All that holiness for 424k? What a godsend. Har har.

Nun's buns.......... I am laughing so hard right now!!!!
I can see the comfort to be gained knowing the house had been blessed and all... but would you EVER be able to have sex in that house without feeling incredibly guilty?

I used to live in former convent that had been turned into a hippie commune (which I first typed as "hippie commute," an intriguing -- yet unpleasant -- idea). We'd done very little to change the house, and one day a resident pointed out to me that we were still using the nuns' old toilet seat. "Nuns' buns," he said. "Nuns' buns!"
So sure, the real estate agent can write "Home has been blessed by God's servants" in the listing. But to me? All this photo makes me think of is... how refreshing that glass of lemonade looks.

The nuns have a pool! Awesome!
Actually, this convent looks like an ordinary house. I guess I always thought convents looked more conventy.

Those nuns are living in style! I wonder if nuns have special swimming habits...

I hadn't considered that the house was a convent -- I presumed those were just some neighboring nuns
dropping by.

This could be the next level in house-staging. "House is immaculate" with a few nun-casual pics.

I notice that not only has the house been blessed, it has an abundance of patriotism...
