The laziness of home owners always amazes me. The last time I checked, mold and mildew came off with good old bleach, and some soap and water (heaven forbid!). Perhaps finding out the source of the mold problem is too much to ask. After all, you're only killing photographers, real estate agents, future home owners.... but hey, look on the bright side... I bet there are no mice.. they're probably already dead!

Looks like one of ours.

Best part is the bank won't do the clean up and then asks the agent why it's been on the market for three months without a nibble. Uh...I don't know, maybe it's the mold on the wall

Isn't thrush (as in the street this house is on) a fungal disease? Seems apropos.

Thrush Street is an appropriate locale for this fungus-laden abode.

On the plus side, it has Christmas lights.. no having to figure out how to get that iron lung out the door when it's time to decorate.

The bathroom was looking okay (yeah the color was BRIGHT, but the toilet, sink and shower looked newish)...then I saw the next pic with the tub. Pleeeease tell me that's colored grout/caulk between the tiles and the tub.

This is why they don't recommend barbecuing indoors. Also, you'll die.

On an unrelated note, I saw a house where people had the barbecue too close to the vinyl siding and melted the side of their house.

No no no, you're all wrong. This is what happens in ICO when the horned wraiths come to steal Yorda from you. Quick, pull Yorda out of the portal! We have to escape the fortress before the evil queen sucks Yorda's youth out!

Hey, anonymous, we have that siding on our house. The previous owner barbecued too close, now there's a part that's all scalloppy. Nice.

Huh...my guest room was that same baby blue when I bought the house. It took four coats of primer to cover it up.

Cooking up meth in the house is always a bad idea. Cough, cough.

Is there some sort of rule that you have to open the toilet lids before you can take the pictures?

X, I don't think that color is baby blue. More like neon :-/

And is that a toad in the bathtub in the other bathroom?

Let's not speculate about the race, class, or parenting skills of the people who live in these houses. We judge them on the photos they pick, not on who they are as people (unless we really can't help it).
