Wow. They couldn't even be bothered to flush the toilet.

It really paid off hiring that decorator to stage it as minimalist.
The front has an amazing resemblance to a trailer...er, mobile home I mean. Great curb appeal.

caney!!! you have me laughing in my cubicle.
hey, do the sense of depression and hopelessness come with the house free of charge? if that's clean then i wonder what the house looked like before...
It's weird...the homes next to it look like they have well maintained yards, etc. I wonder who lived here?

aside from the comeback of the chair novels, the artisitc touch of all the mess, the toilet left unflushed, the cabinet doors left open, got me thinking if this house was robbed fulltime or the owners were really just in a hurry because the world is going to end..
"Cute" is not really the word that comes to mind when looking at that house.
I appreciate that it's an REO and the realtor probably isn't going to make squat on this sale, but really -- you couldn't flush the toilet or pick up the cane chair before snapping the photo?

Lends a whole new meaning to 'as is'.
When the time comes to sell our home, I'll just forget to flush and pick up. Who needs a staging?

And to include TWO shots of the outdoor chair.
And yes, the toilet is gross.
(BTW - it's bank-owned which means that the last folks probably defaulted)

Mmmm...cheap real estate near LA. Next door neighbor with a spiffy fenced lot...probably so desperate they'll lend out their power tools. Mmmm.
You see pee in the toilet - I see a clever device to keep the price down and the suckers away. Nothing that can't be fixed with a little flush!

Did squatters drag that mattress in there?

I love that the sq.ft. is 911, as in the last number dialed from the phone in this house before it's occupants disappeared.

I love your chair Sagas. I think there needs to be a movie in the works.

Not picking up before taking the pictures is one thing, misspelling "seperate" TWICE is another. Who does these listings?

I agree--we need a CHAIR movie!
We already have the cast--Lawny White, his cousin Green,.L.Z. Boy, and Caney!
Poor, poor Caney...

I know why Caney got bumped.
He was a stool pigeon.
