That's the pointy-eared house elf who comes with the property.

"You will sleep like a baby" in this home. I know real estate agents reproduce. . . hasn't a single one of them ever been up at night with a newborn?

And they've got a pink driveway and roof, because it's a girl!

Those headband things vex me. Baby has no hair. Baby is going to get a weird imprint on it's tiny, sensitive head. Baby does not need an elastic loop so very close to its neck. Baby does not need jump off a fashion bridge just because Mischa Barton did.

That said, if they brought out a Karate Kid version, I'd probably be more generous.

Aw. How precious.

(I hear ya on the garter thing, though. I endured plenty of "oh, what a fine boy you have!" with all three of my daughters rather than inflict that.)

And to think that I felt bad about bragging about my son's grasp of the English language today.

I should have thrown a garter belt on his long haired head and called it marketing. I'm soooo stupid!!!

Anonymous: that would explain a thing or two about this listing. At 2AM, I'm sure it seemed like a very good idea.

Does the baby come with the house? If yes, there won't be too much sleeping going on!

That baby looks fussy - like she's sniffing at something.

Probably the elastic on her head.

In the last pic we see our friend "chair" - sent around the corner to keep an eye on L'il chair (yellow and so maybe not to be trusted). All of the nice furniture gets to stay together on the big chair patio.

This makes me ashamed to be an Aussie.. bet someone thought they were a genius with that opening line.

As you can see "feature walls" were big here a while back. This house would make any prospective buyer want to harm themselves. At first I thought the vendors had just chucked in cheap hire furniture, then I realised that it is actually someone's real furniture that they live with day to day.. maybe that's why they are selling up..

I haven't been able to put my finger on it... but I'm disturbed by this one.

I am also disturbed by this photograph. It reminds me of the photographs the Victorians used to take of their dead children, dressed up and posed in an eternal sleep. . . . (shiver).

This thread is getting sickos, who looks at a cute photo and sees dead kids. OMG people you need help. My daughter has an identical headband they are available for $6.95. THEY ARE NOT GARTERS. Also
people seem to forget that agents put the photos on the net. This baby probably has nothing to do with this house at all. The photo was probably googled.

Hey Johanna, "anon" might think you're a sicko, but I agree with you. It looks like a creepy dead baby. Sorry, folks.

Let's not speculate about the race, class, or parenting skills of the people who live in these houses. We judge them on the photos they pick, not on who they are as people (unless we really can't help it).
