I just came across your site this week and I love it! We have been looking for a new home and browsing for sale photos ourselves but these take the cake!

O loved your blog, we are possibly going to be trying to sell our house in a near future, and if people can ask such prices for such... "marvels", I am not a stressed-out mess I was before I saw your blog.
Do you accept submissions if people come across funny photos?

Me too, me too. I rarely forward things, but after reading every entry on your blog, I *had* to send a copy to my sister, who just sold her condo and bought her first house.

This should be required entertainment for anyone BEFORE house selling and/or house hunting. It will make the seller more savvy, and give the buyer a new attitude about being dragged around to inappropriate properties.

Thanks for creating and maintaining this blog!

To be fair, some houses in coastal areas are built on stilts to prevent flood damage.
Of course, that's probably not the case here...since the other property in the photo is at ground level!

i think it's a 2-storey house and they decided to complete the 2nd floor first..

Let's not speculate about the race, class, or parenting skills of the people who live in these houses. We judge them on the photos they pick, not on who they are as people (unless we really can't help it).
