Sadly, that artwork is the only interesting thing about the entire house, apart from the price. That virtual tour should be prescribed by doctors to insomniacs.

I kinda like the pic over the fireplace, I was more intrigued by the crutches, vacuum cleaner and Christmas bedspread in the "other" room.

Crutches, laundry, oatmeal-colored walls... clearly, this house is not a sale, it's a liberation/intervention from unfortunate accidents and boredom! Somebody buy this house and free its owner to become the "ball girl at the circus" she always wanted to be! Who knew house buying could be such a humanitarian thing??
Or maybe I'm just still coasting on "take my canvas bags, take my canvas bags..." My empowerment is transferring to this listing...

I'm one of those people. Laundry is my favorite hobby. Doing laundry has a meditative, zen-like quality for me. And in a strange way, I kind of like that painting.
What is the deal with the back of the house? That look of a ripple in a pond...is that something new?

I do think the sweeper and crutches are odd. How hard would it be to pick that up? Also thanks for the link to the song. I will feel like a queen next time I go to the market.
Anyone who keeps a house bland solely because they might sell it one day is...well, I'm sure there's a better word than "pathetic" for a homeowner who doesn't actually live in his home but merely occupies it, timidly terrified someone will take offense at his taste, but I'm too tired to think of it.
Also it doesn't work: buyers don't care what colour the walls are, since they'll paint them anyway.
I fail to understand the mania for neutral colours. "Horror of horrors, a bright colour! Evil! Evil! Anathema!" as they hold up crosses. Zzzzzzzzz.

I have a great love for this song and video, Tim Minchin's "Canvas Bags":
It's an anthem for me, for what I do every day. It makes me feel like a superhero. Yes! I, too, take my canvas bags, take my canvas bags, take my canvas bags to the supermarket! So I understand the appeal of seeing the quotidian in artwork.
That said -- I really don't understand this painting Heather found. Or, more to the point, I don't understand why it's in the listing:
