Looks like a lot more illegal stuff went on in this place than just an illegal garage apartment. Just looking at this dirty place makes me want to take a shower!

The work gloves really accentuate the homes need for severe reconstruction.

is that dirt really 2 inches thick? okay, truly gross - but the sign... hmmm, now I'm thinking about getting one for the door to my backyard - maybe they'd stop coming in and out and wasting all that lovely A/C

I have done quite a bit of real-estate photography in my day, but I have never seen anything this bad before.

How funny - we looked at houses for over a year before we bought ours, and we saw lots of really weird stuff, but I don't think we saw this on any of them. I kind of wish we did for a few. :) Great blog - neat idea and just fun reading!! Thanks for sharing!

You need to do a coffee table book with all of these lovely pictures in it.

Your captions are the best part!

"Handyman fixer! Great for a family! Spacious kitchen, light and airy, with meth lab adjacent!"

Can we really trust a listing agent named Steve Fingerhut?

Let's not speculate about the race, class, or parenting skills of the people who live in these houses. We judge them on the photos they pick, not on who they are as people (unless we really can't help it).
