"Deferred Maintenance" is a handy phrase for "they let it go to crap".
What is a three-quarters bath anyway? I know the half bath with sink and toilet, I know the 2/3rds bath term meaning the same thing but leaving out the tub third but 3/4's? New term to me.

A $670,000 "fixer upper"? It is a pretty big house but it certainly needs a ton of work done to it, both inside and out. Oh, and I love the real estate listing trick of calling it a "mid-century" house. Ah, doesn't that mean around 1950? Which means that there are probably 1950's electrics, plumbing and foundation work as well. What a bargain!
"deferred maintenance"... that's a term I'm going to have to adopt around my house, with a twist... "deferred chores" - that's what the kids do every day!

Apparently the owners also engaged in deferring their mortgage payments.
"So soothing"

"Classic mid-century modern home on a large lot, just under an acre. In the beautiful Covina Hills area." They forgot to add..."Skateboarders welcome"
Who's with me? Anyone else go to high school in the 80s and had friends who'd break into drained swimming pools to go skateboarding?

Is that what's it's like to be by the ocean? Coming from a landlocked state, that's as close to waves as I have ever seen.
Maybe that's why it's $670k. It would be $700k if it had that extra quarter bath.

A three-quarters bath is a sink, toilet, and shower (in lieu of a tub).

I don't get why you guys call it a bathroom if there isn't any bath in there?
And Meg? Skateboarding in empty pools? You rebel you.

A 3/4 bathroom has a sink, bathtub, and urinal. Unless you're really creative, you can't poo in there.
