LOL! I thoroughly enjoyed your blog! We were just through the whole house search process, so this is all to familiar! I hope your own search goes well.
Usually i dont post on blogs of people i dont know. But i just had to let you know this is the funniest site that i have seen in ages. Now i'm off to dry my tears of joy.
I will join the long list of those who are finding you for the first time and loving it. I read back to April or May earlier today and nearly choked laughing. So great! ... and creative, original, etc.
Man, my kids would KILL to have that mural in their bedroom. They wouldn't let us NOT buy that house. They'd just want us to put their pictures in the space suits.

This blog is great, it makes me feel great about my place!
We're searching for a house right now, as luck would have it we have not yet come across with a house like any of these, but you'll be the first to know if I do lol.
As for the toilet, I would hopefully assume that it is not in use and that the owner just used poor judgement in not moving it out of the way before snapping the picture. However, if the listing says that there is 1 1/2 baths and there is only one other bathroom then I'd be worried.
My wife and I have always enjoyed looking through strange MLS photos. Great blog idea! I have thoroughly enjoyed this blog. Keep up the great work.

It's a toilet! No, it's a doorway! No... according to Julia, who found this listing, this door is the only way into the sun room behind the toilet.
The listing's website is tricky to navigate, so I'll just toss this in here. It's from the same house, and I think it's great. Well, so long as those are the family's kids, it's great. Otherwise it's bizarre and creepy. Either way, though, is it really a selling point?

No, that mural is the bedroom of the family's 40-year-old single Uncle Elrod.
