*announcer voice* IN A WORLD where the laws of physics simply do not apply....there was this house!

I totally want to live somewhere with bendy walls.

oh shoot - I was totally hoping for the first... anyplace where Orlando Bloom might drop by - of course, I prefer him WITHOUT the blonde wig :)

Please please please can I live in the first one? Please? I'll never ask for anything ever again. Ever. I'll even wear a forest green tunic every day. Please?

That first one... wow....

The last one would be great for after the Christmas eating season, I would still be able to get through the door!

Oh yipee! A fun house! I hope it's like that tube you walk into that spins and you try to stay on the bottom - what fun!

You can't live in the first one, but you can stay overnight. There's actually a Hobbit Hotel in the North Island of New Zealand..

Okay, Meg. I will grant your wish, but know this: by the time the clock strikes 12 on the 12th day of the 12th month, you must have found the magical toad in the forest, kissed him 12 times and changed him into a prince. If not, the whole village will disappear and you must go back to living in the suburbs and resume the horrible life of a normal human being.

I love the Shire website. Especially how half of the buildings appear to be video game environments.

I imagine you'll need to select your race (elf, hobbit, dwarf or human? hmmm?) and class (druid? warrior? wizard? hmmm?) before applying.

ah and I know that that comment did have to do with the "race" and "class" of the people living there... but I didnt touch the parenting skills!

I found some more info on The Shire (the one in Bend). It's kind of a sad, but thoroughly predictable story:

Eeek! What is going on with this listing???

Let's not speculate about the race, class, or parenting skills of the people who live in these houses. We judge them on the photos they pick, not on who they are as people (unless we really can't help it).
