Vashon Island is a lovely place, though there's not so much to do there. Maybe the bathroom's the room of choice for people with nothing but time on their hands? On the other hand, it is the only finished room in the house, so I sorta see it's siren call.
I'm deliberating here... should I crack up at your comments or run screaming from the room at the very thought of needing the ShopVac in the bathroom...
maybe the shop vac is to help the coffee go through faster, or in case of ingestion of coffee they can simply insert the shop vac hose into the mouth and suck it back out...
I did find a reason that the coffee maker is in the bathroom - there are no other counters (or flat surfaces save the microwave/tv combo) anywhere in the house. The only other sink in a utility sink in the kitchen and if you're going to "partially" renovate something (AKA DIY), you're going to need to drink A LOT of coffee.
The shop vac, well, finished space is at a premium. I'd probably put it there too but I wouldn't take a picture with it or the icky coffee pot for my real estate listing. I'd put it in the front yard.

If you need a shop vac and a coffee maker in the bathroom... you're doing something wrong. (If you're actually doing the thing very, very, right, I don't want to know about it.)

Hey, I'D like one in my bathroom....
I love this blog. I think it's still Sunday in the US as I'm writing this, so I can consider this a religious experience. I'm quite sure of it.

So is there a connection between the items in the bathroom and the fact that the sofa is the color of radioactive baby poo?
