What a great picture! It's so incredibly dramatic. Instead of Grunge bands it makes me think that Hagrid will soon appear on a flying motorcycle. Then he'll whisk the unfortunate orphan, that doubtless lived there, off to Hogwarts and a new life. There really should be a wizard towering in the shadows.
Those skies are portents of mystical forces at work. That or they really should be attached to the house with the groovy van painting.

darnnit - now I have a Candlebox song stuck in my head. thanks.
If this were the early nineties? And I was in a grunge band? Even though we mocked the term "grunge," but that was what we were called -- ironically! -- when our show opening for Girl Trouble got reviewed in The Rocket? And we needed cover art our five-song EP, the one our friend was putting out on the record label he runs from his bedroom in Tumwater?

I'm so confused now. To me it looks like every other house in Canada, with a bit of wood siding on the front.

Actually, it reminds me of the music video to the song After the Rain by The Nelson Brothers.

This would actually make a good CD cover. Seriously.

Who name-checks Tumwater? I'm betting you're either a Greener or an Oly-area local. Well ... ?

A Greener, anon. Go geoducks!
