This is called a "Dutch Vanity".

It is actually very common in the Netherlands and other Nordic countries where people like to examine things they create in the bathroom.

I love the photo of the fancy sofa with the fancy rug and fancy lamp... and a toy rodent. And on the sofa are two scary baby dolls.

"OK Mr. and Mrs. Jones, we'll just wrap up the paperwork and you can move in next week. There's just one little detail.... You see, when she died, it turns out she left the whole estate to, well, maybe you'd better come up to the bathroom with me and meet your new roommate."

Pretty house, but odd accessory choices! One of the kitchen shots looks like Winnie the Pooh just passed out on the kitchen island. Poor ol' bear.

And, look! In the pool picture of this listing---the white plastic chair is at it again--this time with some friends and looking a little tipsy, I might say! Rehab anyone?

Let's not speculate about the race, class, or parenting skills of the people who live in these houses. We judge them on the photos they pick, not on who they are as people (unless we really can't help it).
