I agree, wicked cool! Especially since the retrofit was done suring a time with quality woodworking and crappy electrical.

Even with the caution tape, it's still pretty cool!

Very cool. But I have to agree, I like more of a divider between my bedroom & my bathroom- more than NONE at all, anyway.

There is a (landmark) home near me very much like this, only it's 3 whole stories! There is a spiral staircase inside that would completely freak my dog out, however. Can you imagine hauling laundry 3 floors up a spiral staircase? I prefer to look from the road, thankyouverymuch.

It's great as long as you don't have visitors - but I'm a hermit so it'd suit me

That house is completely awesome. I would love to live there, caution tape and lack of bathroom wall and all.

I'm almost sure I saw this place on HGTV a few years ago. Maybe on What's With That House?

that would be a great place to live.

Totally awesome. I would live there in a heartbeat. Of course, walls would somehow have to be put up for the bathroom.

Now that's a true "I'll take it" for me. I've always wanted to live in something that's not a house.. like a missile silo, a church, a factory.

I'm going to live in this house and be the Little Old Lady from Pasadena.

There. Is. A. Toilet. In. The. Bedroom.

Plus, you can't hang any pictures on the curved walls.

I love that they specifically tell you that the adjacent mansion isn't included, like you would just assume it was the garage to this place or something.

But heck, you could BUILD a wall around the toilet.

RedRoom!! RedRooooom!

Pretty good price for that neighborhood! I believe it used to be part of Busch Gardens, I mean gardens built by the Busch family up there.

How... echoey is that place?

I was going to put in an offer, but I could never corner anyone to discuss terms!

Do you think this would be ok for a clumsy girl and a blind cat? 'Cause we totally want it!

I'm pretty sure I saw it on What's With that House, also. Or maybe one just like it : )

"Architecht Frederic Roehrig designed this property to match the adjacent mansion (not included)." Is that sort of like batteries not included - real house not included? :)

you can look at the virtual tour and they have pictures all over the place. It looks really cool with furniture and not just bare walls. I wonder if there was a safe above the fireplace?

i'd buy this one if i'd have the money and needed a house near LA. i don't care much about the lack of walls and the round walls: at least this would be a *slightly* more unique than your average suburban home. a little devider between the bathroom and the rest of the house would do from when i'd have friends over.

"No Garage. No Parking." Uhm. So not only can you not hang pictures (not to mention the flat screen tv), but there is no where to put your car.

This house rocks. The agent must not have passed English. His (of course it's a man, a woman wouldn't post something without proofing it) description is terribly written.

The Caution tape is there because the railings haven't been installed

Did anyone look at the original posting? Its up for sale for the 4th time in the last 9 years. Doesn't look like its a keeper.

Let's not speculate about the race, class, or parenting skills of the people who live in these houses. We judge them on the photos they pick, not on who they are as people (unless we really can't help it).
