This would make a great advertisement for what a single well-placed potted plant could do...it would be plastic, of course.

When the Realtor called to say "clean up all your nasty junk for the photos" the homeowner took it to heart! At least they left the hose and the one light on to brighten up the place.
Hi, I found your blog through Blogs of Note! Congrats!! Your site is great and very funny.
By the way, I used to hate that old Break the Ice game when I was a kid. Back then, the guy in the middle used to look like a creepy old man in a chair and his face used to give me the willies. Therefore, even if I WAS house shopping, this one would be crossed off my list now because of this post!!
You may get a lot of hits soon - someone posted this blog on fark.com. :) I've just started looking for a house myself (East coast), so I enjoyed looking at your posts!
Very well done blog! A hilarious look at real estate. I passed your blog onto my wife as well, as she is always looking at house listings and would really enjoy the humor. Keep up the great work.

WTF. Couldn't they have at least put the scrawny posts at the far corners of the structure they're supporting, rather than in the middle like leetle toothpick legs?

If hubby rams the riding lawnmower into those 2 toothpick sized posts the whole thing is going to fall over. Maybe it will look better on its side.

If someone actually painted it to make it look like it was made out of lego that would be the coolest thing ever.

For some reason, it reminds me of the forts my brother and I used to try and build with junk lumber from the garage and old blankets...

I've done construction work before and all I have to say is, how would one go about building that house?
