"Meanwhile I think I'm the only person in Australia who hasn't fallen for the recent trendy donations to tsunami victims appeals."
and
"I mean sure it was a huge tradegy and what not, but does anyone actually believe throwing millions of dollars and lending out insane amounts of money that these small countries will never be able to pay back actually help them?...I mean if the opposition to reducing the exsisting debts some of these countries already have by America wasn't sign enough I don't know what is."
(My ten cents: reducing existing debt does not rebuild bridges, bury bodies, and recreate large scale infrastructures, it just reduces existing debt, the remainder of which still needs to be paid.).
and, the piece de resistance,
"Indonesia got kicked by a big can of mother nature whoopass, and guess who's there to be a shoulder to cry on. Let's see them bomb us now...Political security really is a small price to pay for so many lives."
True, the little shit does like to be inflammatory just to be 'different' but time and place eh? Be different when you actually need to be, not just because you dont want to get lumped with everyone else. It makes you stupider, not smarter otherwise.
It really amazes me what people label 'trendy' just because there is a collective trend towards something. Ugg boots yes, tsunami donations and anything for the good of mankind, no.
Shard, congratulations, once again you don't have a clue.
