Thanks so much, you always the say the right thing right when needed - it's a great gift. I agree, it's a good plan - I probably know biol best then physics then chem. Fortunately as you say chem is not too hard! (I would jump off a bridge if it was largely physics based)

I only own one Cruel Sea song and this is it. Also, I dont own it. I STOLE it.
Okay so I went to my brothers tonight. This was a bit of a make or break night for me, I've been so down about this shit that I was on the verge of giving up. I'd burnt myself out two weeks ago and was dreading the prospect of it happening again. Thank Christ for a brother whose worked in corporate Australia for a long time! We set goals and targets - things I need. I now have a study plan for the next five months. He explained that I burned out because I was studying with no set plan and no way to track my progress, indeed no way to tell if I'd even made progress! So we went over a practice exam and a topic list and made a spreadsheet.
He was a bit worried at first, and kept stressing that I could always do it the next year. Until I pointed out that it was a) multiple choice and b) 50% english based and c)I only needed a score of around 65 to guarantee an interview.
Then he agreed it was very doable. So I can do this. Whether in five months, or a year and five months, I will do this.
Here is the outline of my study list (its week by week). There's more under those topics but I can't be bothered adding it.
Some of it like stoichiometry I already half get so that's good. I understand where I went wrong now. I just tried to blindly study without any real grasp of what I was studying for. Once Damien went over the necessary topics with his good grasp of science it all came together. I'm so glad he's my brother. I'm so proud to have a genius for brother no matter how much he wont admit it. Out of all my family, he's had the most impact on me. For all the things I havent got, or haven't had, I wouldn't trade any of those for what I've got in my bro. I'll remember that next time the self pity wagon comes along. And after the bastard ex-boyfriend left, Damien made me look things up in dictionaries whenever I asked their meaning.

I think that is a very realistic plan. One step at a time and keep your eye on the prize!
Biology and Chemistry are not difficult subjects at all in my experience.
I wouldn't know shit about physics though :P
