I am SO jealous of Kathryn!!!! :-) loving the glimpses of transformation I'm seeing.. I cry at every picture.. Not sure, but it might have something to do with the pregnancy.. :-)
Hey there...what is so cool is that even before I read this last post, I had scrolled back in the pics to find earlier pics because I was sending before and after pics to my pastor.. last Sunday he was talking about "do we believe God loves us" and relating us being adopted by God to adopting a child. I sure do see how she has changed and how cool it is to relate the too! Love you all!!
Oh she's so pretty in her dress! I cannot wait to hold her when you guys come down for Thanksgiving! I hope she'll warm up to us! Thanks for the updates...keep em coming! -Holly
Thank you for sharing these precious pictures. The love you can feel through them just makes me cry. Having a family is the most important thing in life! God bless you.
She is so obviously beautifully happy! Love it that she want her mommy!

Have you looked back at Betty's old pictures lately? Or even the one in the header? A transformation is taking place before our eyes. Seriously. Leah smiles all the time, when she feels safe. She is happy and playful and funny and has a sassy walk. It's hilarious. We still see some of the remnants of the institution (occasional biting, pinching and hitting) but even those are diminishing. Praise God!!
Leah is very particular about who is allowed to hold her. It really boils down to me, Grandma, or, in the last day, her cousin Kathryn. Everyone else is suspect. And that's a good thing! Just two weeks ago she was in an orphanage holding up her arms to be held by anyone who walked in. Thank you, Jesus.
We have a long way to go with Miss Sassy Pants, but we are on the right road and I'm grateful. So grateful. Even Seth acknowledges her now and we've had a few rousing giggle fests or wrestling matches or nice parallel play. It's a good thing. :)
Here is our Ugandan Princess and her big brother.....
