We love pumpkin ice cream at our house and we decided to give it a go using our Rival ice cream maker...http://www.preppysue.com/2010/10/whats-scoop-wednesday.html

So yummy!

I had apple pie ice cream, and pumpkin ice cream, both for the first time, just yesterday!! Delicious!!

I was excited to see that you are thinking about a version that has some fresh cranberries in it, because that was going to be my suggestion!!

I have to add to the list of fall favorites the two sorbets I had yesterday from JP Licks: Fresh Apple, and Carrot. Individual delicious and also good together!!

I wonder what a sweet potato ice cream would be like.. with pineapple chunks! mmmm...

I LOVE FALL!

How adorable. I love that picture.

A butter cranberry pecan ice cream would be soooo delicious!

I can vouch for her cranberry ice cream as being awesome! A newbie mom had time to freshly churn cranberry ice cream on my visit. Now that's a friend!

1. Sorry. :)

2. I remember making a pumpkin ice cream pie kind of like that one year for Thanksgiving...I used vanilla ice cream, though, and canned pumpkin and some spices. But it was GOOD - kind of a lighter flavor than pumpkin pie, but of course, combining the two best things in the world (pumpkin & ice cream!), it was amazing. I'll have to dig that recipe out.
